Record Narration
Picture
You can record narrations using the internal microphone or by using an external mic that connects to the lightening port. Some bluetooth options work well, including the Comica CVM WS50, which can also be used with the iPad Pro using a USB-C adapter.
Add Soundtracks and Effects
Picture
iMovie comes with a library pre-installed soundtracks and sound effects. Narrations, songs, and effects have their own independent layers.

When using a green screen, the light must be evenly lit and the subject should be far enough away to avoid producing shadows.
Add Overlays
Picture
Overlays exist in the form of cutaways, picture-in-picture, split screen, green screen/blue screen and audio only.
Recording with Green Screen

I recommend foam backed screens because they are non-reflective and can be stretched and attached to most surfaces. Good lighting combined with a good chromakey editor will help produce great results. Best: Final Cut Pro, LumaFusion. Good: iMovie, Videoleap,
